Sales Engineer with excellent technical, communication, and organisational skills, and previous experience in cloud platform and infrastructure products.
In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the Sales team to introduce Cloud-native services to customers. You will help prospective customers and partners to help customers drive their digital & IT strategy powered by the Cloud platforms. understand the power of Public Cloud
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Develop Cloud adoption road maps, Business cases
- Create Demand in the market in existing and new accounts, Leverage marketing teams for specific events
- Able to work with the CIO and Business IT leaders for understanding the strategies and applying ideas for Cloud adoption
- Own the technical relationship with customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work with the architect teams, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
- Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate and solutions as needed ..like product integrations in customer/partner environments.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.
- Partner management and working with them on the ground.
- Be certified in Key cloud technologies
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience serving in the capacity of a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role (including working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team).
- Experience with Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS technologies.
- Experience presenting and delivering technical pitches.
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or other technical fields.
- Experience with networking concepts including routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Experience in and understanding of data and information management – especially as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses.
- Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand and work with new emerging technologies

Basic Qualifications
- 12-15+ years of IT experience as a technical specialist, technical sales, enterprise architect or consultant in Customer-facing roles in various Cloud Offerings
- Rich and diverse background and understanding of Global Business and Outsourcing markets and partnership management
- Experience in providing the architecture and solutions for large Datacentre migrations to Public Cloud and Cloud Native Development
- Written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn, multi-task and exhibit a high level of enthusiasm, commitment, initiative, collaboration, and creativity.
- Ability to understand and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud.
- Good Understanding and Hands-on experience of Dockers, Kubernetes, Containers & Microservices services like EKS, AKS, GKS, Fargate Etc.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Define the Cloud strategy and solutions to support large cloud transformational pursuits.
- Work with the Sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities, to identify key customer technical challenges and to develop the cloud solution to meet the business needs.
- Responsible for End to End Overall Technical solutions on Public Cloud, including activities such as supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordination of supporting technical resources
- Create high level architectural design work and present a range of technical solutions to the customer. This is a very client-facing position that will have you leading technical customer sessions, assessing customer technical needs, and developing solutions.
- Responsible to establish and grow business and technical relationships, and managing the interactions with cloud partners and internal sales teams.
- Prepare technical solution on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud for IaaS, PaaS or SaaS workloads
- Experience with Enterprise networking and Security concepts and should be able to create solution around that.
- Designing and delivering multi-cloud platform (SaaS, PAS, IAS) solutions and proposals
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build strong industry relationships.
