Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities)

As a Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose and refine the solution.  You will be defining user stories, use cases, system workflow diagram and also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution.  You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required

• At least 5, ideally min 7 years of demonstrated hands-on experience as IT Business Analyst (BA) and at least 3 Full cycle of Business Analysis engagements for software development, system integration, transformation or product development with role of Senior Business Analyst / Senior Consultant
• Experienced in driving workshops for requirement definition, capability to transform high level business requirements into detailed IT requirements
• Able to master backend system integrations based on business processes, understands and challenge business architecture and process design activities
• Highly analytical with effective issue trouble shooting skills and able to get things done with sense of ownership
• Able to question correctness of things
• Experienced in product backlog creation, prioritization in the form of EPICs and user stories
• Hans-on experience in using tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio etc. for the enablement of day-to-day BA activities
• Well versed with SCRUM Agile practices
• Knowledge about Agile User Story Writing
  • How to write a User Story
  • How to write acceptance criteria
  • How to write exception flows and error handling
  • Definition of Ready
• Knowledge about REST API’s with JSON
  • How REST API’s are structured
  • How to use Swagger and Postman (Swagger is UI in browser to read REST API documentation, Postman is a tool to execute API calls)
  • Understand different data types
  • Able to map input and output of API’s
• Follow up with development activities during Software Development Life Cycle to ensure production deliveries are as per requirement
• Fluent in English
• Effective presentation and communication skills
• Able to work with onshore & offshore team set up
