Our client, one of the leading technology brands in the world, is seeking Data Architect to join their Ludwigshafen, Germany based office. They are expecting someone with 14+ years of experience.

What you’ll do in your new organisation:

·         Strong architecting and working experience in databases, data warehousing and ETL platforms

·         Ability to layout architectural blueprint, technology roadmap and solutions for the Database / Data warehouse ecosystem

·         Knowledge and experience in data modelling and design, and data optimizations

·         Expertise in RDBMS and non-relational DB concepts

·         Able to design and recommend end-to-end data model and architecture

·         Proven Architecting expertise in Big data technologies like Hadoop, MapReduce, HBase, oozie, Flume, MongoDB, Cassandra and Pig

·         Strong knowledge and proven experience in designing database solutions and platforms to handle multiple data formats

·         Knowledge in Data lake concepts and implementation of Data lake is essential

·         Working knowledge or exposure to cloud capabilities to host the database platforms/solutions is preferred

·         Working knowledge in AWS tools for Data ingestion, Storage, Cataloging, AWS Lambda etc. is highly advantageous

·         Ability to analyse the current state and conceive desired future state required to solve the business problems in innovative and latest technology trends

Skills Required

·         RDBMS, Oracle PL/SQL, ETL

·         Big Data / Hadoop technologies like MapReduce, Hive, and Pig

·         AWS tools which include but not limited to Glue, S3, Lambda etc.
