What You Can Expect
As an Agile Coach, you’ll join our team of passionate individuals who are highly competent at adapting to our clients needs. You will display agility in the truest sense, by being flexible and adaptable. You’ll encourage effective teamwork at all levels while learning the landscape of the business and helping identify areas where improvement is needed and offering guidance toward continuous improvement. You will work closely with decision makers and teams to grow and mature in their Agile practices.
You will use your strong interpersonal skills to coach across departments and geographies, and will leverage your Agile experience and knowledge. You are business-focused and tech-savvy, and will be considered a thought leader by both the client’s business and technical teams. As an Agile Coach, you are a subject matter expert in theory and practice. You have an in-depth understanding of the practices and principles of Scrum and real-world experience with organizations and teams either transforming to Agile or enhancing their Agile practices.

- Exceptional English language communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
- Willingness to participate in frequent worldwide teleconferences outside of daytime hours
- BS in Business, Information Systems, Informatics or related field, or comparable experience
- Consulting and software development lifecycle experience
- Strong technical skills, business acumen, and ability to fully understand the capabilities, organization structure, and maturity of a customer
- Be able to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
- Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
- Logical thinker, detail-oriented and organized
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Agile Certification (PSM I or II, PSPO I, CSP-SM, CSP-PO, Less Certification, SPC, SA)
- Experience coaching teams and enterprise level individuals in an Agile environment
- A thorough understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies, values, and procedures, including methodologies for scaling agile (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe, Nexus, Scrum@Scale)
- Experience working with an Agile methodology on large scale, technically complex projects
- Worked with JIRA, Azure DevOps, TFS, Agile Central, VersionOne, Smart Sheet, AgileCraft or similar software
Nice to have skills
- Agile Coach Certification (ICP-ACC, CEC or similar)
- People Management experience
Target Experience Levels:
- Agile Coach: 3 – 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach in an IT or Software Development setting with demonstrated experience mentoring and providing guidance to team members
- Significant hands-on experience in at least one of the roles on a Scrum Team
- 2+ clients or projects with an International / Global company, multi-division, across multiple time zones, coordinated through geographically dispersed teams.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively teams and organizations in leadership coaching, organizational transformation, and Agile Practices at the enterprise and team level
- Leverage your experience in Scrum and SAFe or other scaling methodologies at multiple levels of engagement and at the leadership level
- Work as a hands-on organizational change agent across multiple teams and organizational boundaries
- Apply a solid working knowledge of Agile and Lean values, principles, and practices
- Help individuals, teams, and leadership to understand and apply Agile and Lean values, principles, and practices effectively.
- Understand the difference between coaching and consulting and where to apply each
- Understand the dynamics, patterns, and development of teams
