Our client, one of the leading international technology company, is seeking  IT Functional Consultant to join their London, UK based office. This is a permanent role that pays a very competitive salary. They are looking for a Functional Consultant with strong domain experience in Banking and Payment Industry. You should enjoy working on Analysing and Validating Data to make sure data is accurate when it used by Business Functions. You will be a member of a global Delivery team as functional Subject Matter Expert(SME) for Banking & Fintech Customers of our client. You will guide the Delivery team in Data Modelling, Design & implementation with functional and domain insights

Primary Roles & Responsibility:

• Lead and Drive Functional Analysis to build common data domains for Payment Processing Company.
• Understand the data structures, data glossary, metadata of source systems (eg. Customers, Billing, Settlement, Scheme etc).
• Work with stakeholder Understand the business context & apply analytical concepts to provide business solutions.
• Map the entries to the common data model for data domains.
• Create Source to Target Entities with business & transformation rules.
• Profile Data in Source Systems and identify anomalies. Discuss with business and agree
• Provide Business Requirement and Functional Specification Document
• Drive Quality Assurance to ensure data quality is adhered as is required per requirement of the project
• Coach the team on functional and business mapping for Data and Analytics portfolio.

Required Skills :

• 7+ years of experience in banking domain.
• Specialisation in Business Analysis of Datawarehouse Projects for Banking & Payments Companies.
• Should have experience in data analysis and validation on Teradata/Big Data technologies.
• Should have experience working with business stakeholders to understand and convert into Functional specifications to be used by Design and Development team .
• Should have worked as Business Analyst/Functional Analyst with specialize in Quality Assurance of Datawarehouse Projects
• Should have very strong experience on Data Profiling using SQL
• Should have hands on experience with at least one scripting language like Python/Shell/Java

Desired Skills :

• Experience in working in Agile projects. Scrum Methodology
• Good communication & documentation skills
• Exposure to public cloud AWS will be an added advantage

Qualifications :

Graduate/Post Graduation in Computer Science
